Jose Ferreira : April 2011 –June 2011

Good Citizen will be extending our exhibition space to the southern side of the billboard on top of our building. This site will let select artists share their work with a wider range of viewers. Good Citizen is pleased to present a new billboard by Jose Ferreira that will run concurrently with his exhibition in the gallery. A Limited Edition Print of his billboard, Locating You (title withheld) is available for sale at the Gallery. Proceeds from the sale of these prints will goto help us continue to provide this opportunity for future artists.

Richard Deon's billboard Writ Large is featured as one of the highlights of the 2011 SGC International Conference. Richard Deon, recipient of the juried billboard exhibition addresses the conference theme of Equilibrium by looking at "the common denominator of human scale" and the changing perspective between drivers and pedestrians. The jurors for this project are Jordan Seiler, founder of the Public Act Campaign, and Andrew James, the director of Good Citizen Gallery.
